I do Danish Pastry with essentially this dough (I think Baking with Julia), with blueberry and almond/almond paste or rasberry and almond/almond paste.

My wife wants me to stop doing things like this however as we really don't need the calories.

Nice article. I hate those DOH moments...it looked like yours was no big deal though.


Thanks for the info on puff pastry. Do you think you can give us the recipe for this? I've made puff pastry only once, years ago. I just don't remember lemon juice or vinegar, but it must have been there?
