Underneath that pitiful excuse for decorating lies a very tasty two-layer cheesecake. I made the top layer vanilla malted, with a chocolate bottom layer. The batter tasted really good, but we'll see how it all comes together later this evening. I'm taking it to a party but we won't get to eat it for several hours :(
I hope everyone has a relaxing July 4, and enjoys the celebration of the birth of our nation. Perhaps it can be a day when people come together instead of engaging in the divisiveness that seems to be more common every day.
